 An American Indian/Native American heritage/cultural center will be constructed in Goldsboro, Wayne County, North Carolina by non-profit American Indian organization Grandpa’s Children, Inc. under the direction of Dreamweaver. The educational tourism project will consist of four buildings constructed in a medicine wheel form around a traditional dance circle and fire pit:
  • The Museum will feature artifacts, culture, and history of the woodland Indians.
  • EARTH Gallery will sell certified tribal member arts and crafts from the eastern woodland Indian tribes.
  • Artist Studios will provide administrative offices, dormitory rooms for artists in residence, private studios, demonstration and instructional space for school children, senior citizens, and other groups. 
  • The Wigwam with a catering kitchen will be available for use by the community for meetings, events, and family gatherings.
